I took a trip to El Paso on Sunday and returned this evening.  I did this trip by myself, walked in the airport a long way (with my cane) and had a fairly busy schedule that I handled just fine.  Before stem cells, a trip like this would have been impossible.  Not only did I handle it physically, but I never once got tired and am still absolutely fine.  Frankly, this is something I could not have done with these results in more than 10 years.  I think this is a big victory and I know there are more repairs on the way!!  YAY!!!

An interesting new development has happened.  I have had a problem with my fine motor skills.  Threading a needle to sew something was impossible.  I had to ask my husband to thread my needles.  This morning he left to go fishing, and I needed to sew something so I attempted it.  And my attempt to thread a needle was successful!  To me this is truly amazing and we cannot say that physical therapy had anything to do with this.  This is all due to the stem cells.

Yes, a “new” developement!  Actually, I did not realize the changes. My friend Alice, my friend Debbie Goldsmith and my physical therapist Deb mentioned to me that any limp I had before was gone.  I still have some challenges with my walking, but it is still early!!  I love my Stem Cells!!

It has been a while since I posted and I am hanging in there!!  The hot days are just about over, thank goodness!!  I am still exercising and waiting for those little miracles.  I had the honor of chanting the blessings before and after the first Torah reading at Rosh Hoshanah services, and I was told that as I walked up to the bimah, my walking was much improved.  I did not use my cane for this little walk up and walk back.  Baby steps!!
